The 2nd meeting of Task 48 on Quality Assurance and Support Measures for Solar Cooling took place in Milano (at University Politecnico di Milano) on Monday 26th (9:00-17:30) and Tuesday 27th (8:30-16:00) of March 2012.
36 experts from 9 countries (Germany, Austria, Australia, Italy, Japan, Spain, USA, Canada, France) attended the 2nd expert meeting. During the meeting, an update on the different activities since the 1st meeting has been achieved , then a reminder on the consolidated workplan of the Task has been presented, followed by workshops to organize the work for all ongoing activities.
A videoconference has been successively organised during the full plenary sessions during the 2 days.
The date for the meeting was due to the proximity of the Mostra Convegno Fair.
A special technical visit has been organised by POLIMI at Idroscalo di Milano (visit of a recently installed solar cooling system nearby Milano). The plant has been realised in the framework of the FP6 research project "High Combi" and couples solar thermal with a water-water heat pump.
The expert meeting was held at University Politecnico di Milano.
