The Australian Solar Cooling Interest Group (ausSCIG) supported by the Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Airconditioning and Heating (AIRAH) held its 2013 conference at CSIRO’s North Ryde Auditorium on Friday April 12.
This conference included a selection of peer reviewed papers and presentations submitted by experts from around the world. It also included regional industry reports from Europe, China and Australia and included a technical tour program. All papers were be peer reviewed and published in the conference proceedings.
The conference covered all aspects of solar airconditioning including:
Solar airconditioning components (Solar PV and Solar thermal)
System, electricity grid and building integration
Solar airconditioning industry development measures and programs
Case studies
10 experts from Task 48 participated to this conference.
A serie of 4 plenary presentations and 9 parallel session presentations have been given by present Task 48 participants with an audience of nearly 100 people.
This conference was officially supported by AIRAH, the Australian Institute of Regfrigeration, Air conditioning and Heating and from the organizers; it was a great success to strengthen the important position of solar cooling in this part of the World
