The Ministry in Charge of Moroccans Living Abroad, in partnership with the Embassy of the Moroccan kingdom in Washington, the Consulate of Morocco in New York and the Network of the American-Moroccan Competencies, organized in New York, June 23, 2012, a meeting which brought together about 120 participants.
The objective of this meeting is to establish a link between the supply of the American Moroccan competencies and the national demand.
Some fifty projects in four domains were presented by the Moroccan skills living in USA. These domains are: Education, Higher education and Scientific Research, Industry and Entrepreneurship, Energy, Water and Environment, as well as Human development.
IEA-SHC-Task 48 group has participated in this event and presented on Solar Cooling. The presentation “Solar Thermal Cooling in Morocco - Feasibility Study & Pilot Project” was given by Dr. Lucio Mesquita (Thermosol Consulting) and Mr. Khalid Nagidi (Energy Management Consulting Group).
